Macbeth, also known by its full title “The Tragedie of Macbeth,” is a renowned tragedy theatre penned by William Shakespeare. Summary Of Macbeth

In the aftermath of a successful defense against Norwegian invaders, Macbeth, Thane of Glamis, encounters three mysterious witches who prophesy his rise to power. Initially skeptical, Macbeth’s belief in the prophecy is bolstered when he learns he has been made Thane of Cawdor as a reward for his valor in battle. Seduced by the possibility of becoming king, Macbeth becomes consumed by ambition.

Encouraged by his wife, Lady Macbeth, who is determined to seize the crown, Macbeth succumbs to her manipulation and plots the murder of King Duncan. That fateful night, Macbeth commits regicide and shifts the blame onto Duncan’s guards, securing the throne for himself. As suspicion mounts and unrest spreads among the Scottish nobility, Macbeth’s reign is plagued by paranoia and violence.
